We’ve stocked our gift shops at the Museum and JHP Gallery with new items this year, including specific things to celebrate our 100th anniversary, which we have been celebrating throughout the year.
Many items can be purchased online, with local pick-up or shipping as an option, while others can only be purchased in person at the respective gift shop.

Mini Bird Paintings by Lisa Stauffer, $45. 3.5" x 5" watercolor paintings in wooden frames featuring cardinals, chickadees, downy woodpeckers, and other flighted favorites. Available in person at the JHP Gallery.
Ojibwe language card games (matching and Go Fish), $9.95. Fun and educational Ojibwe language card games. Available in person at the JHP Museum and Gallery.
Centennial mug, $9.99. This classic coffee mug, designed by a local student volunteer, commemorates the Cook County Historical Society’s Centennial in 2025. Available in person at the JHP Gallery and Museum, or online.
Beaded earrings by Marcie McIntire, $20. Delicate beaded dangle earrings are available in a variety of colors. Available in person at the JHP Gallery.
Centennial Celebration Community Cookbook, $35. A collection of stories through historical content and recipes that reflect the deep connection between food and community in the area between 1925 and 2025. Available in person at the JHP Gallery and Museum, or online.
Membership, prices vary. Give the gift of a membership! We count on your support to offer free public tours at all five of our historical sites, conduct tours to local school groups, publish books on local history, conduct necessary building and structure preservation, help local authors fact check and find resources for historical fiction novels, assist community members with genealogy research, and collect, share, and preserve the stories of the area.
