The Cook County Historical Society operates the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery in Grand Marais, Minnesota.The nonprofit Art Gallery features local, regional, and national artists in revolving exhibits, as well as featuring a permanent collection of original art by Anna C. Plein Air Grand Marais 2018

The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery has partnered with the Outdoor Painters of Minnesota (OPM) to coordinate and take on the 2018 Plein Air Grand Marais! We are currently seeking donations for prize money and operating costs of the competition.

Rent the gallery for private events

The Johnson Heritage Post is now available for private rentals. From weddings to Christmas parties this is the perfect location for your next event!
